I changed my winter shoes to wide-elastic mid-weather shoes, because I started getting knee pain from the traditional ones. I've been using missile soles as summer shoes for years. It was worth changing. The shoes are a little too long for me, but just the right width. It is difficult to find shoes at all for people with narrow feet and wide hips. Usually choose between the bad ones and switch between several pairs to minimize problems. I bet that even though I will wear the shoes a lot, they won't last long. I could hardly have found better ones.

I've only worn these shoes a few times, but they feel comfortable. The soles do not hold on to snow and ice.
