These shoes are not waterproof. They might be water-resistant in the beginning, but over time this feature deteriorates in all shoes.
A lightweight hiker that’s ready for the most extreme adventure. Robust upper and water-resistant membrane. The lugged FeelTrue® sole gives you great traction, while an embedded TrailFoamTM layer provides extra protection and comfort. The Xcursion Fusion is still flexible enough for natural movement, and with the new welded upper, it is so lightweight (each M9 boot is just 13.2 oz.) you might wake up in your tent and realize you never took them off. The difference to the previous "Xcursion" model is mostly the look as these boots have all the same features.PLEASE NOTE: Always choose the size according to your foot length and the inner measurement of the shoe (NOT by the size you usually use as different brands have different sizing). For hiking shoes add about 1.2 cm to your foot legth and select the size closest to that measurement.

At first, the shoes felt really stiff and weighed a little on the footbed. However, the use softened and now feel good on the foot. However, they are stiffer than Xeron mesa trail shoes, for example. The shoes feel warm and have not got wet when walking in wet grass. The size chart doesn’t seem quite in line with reality, I took the same size as the mesa trail shoes and it was appropriate, the size chart should have chosen a number smaller. A 23.5 cm foot size 39 feels suitable in these shoes.
