There is a lot of room for the toes, the ground feel is good, and these don't look like "clown shoes" like some other shoes that leave a lot of room for the toes. A small wool lining helps to keep your feet warm during the cold weather, and the shoes themselves already have good water resistance and breathability. No water has come through or even formed dark "moisture spots" on the nubuk surface now with the autumn rains. The lace fastening, which nicely tightens the shoes along the entire length of the laces, and not just at the last two links, also gets a lot of praise. Absolutely excellent shoes!
With a nubuck surface, the maintenance and good appearance of shoes is easy with nubuck conditioners and tools (by the way, never put beeswax in nubuck leather shoes, it destroys the properties of the nubuck and this destruction cannot be undone). I have the hazelnut-colored version, the leather is dyed, so the color "wears off" a little after use, but you can get this nub conditioner in the same shade from almost every cobbler, after which the shoes are like new.
