Reima Tepastelu (RAJOITETTU ERÄ)

Barefoot shoe for toddlers' natural stance and movement.

The Reimatec barefoot sneaker Tepastelu is designed for adventurous toddlers and changing weather. The minimalist last is wide enough for all the toes to grow straight, and the sole is entirely without heel drop, so your child can enjoy a more natural stance and undisturbed gait. The sole is thin, only 4 mm, and flexible, which allows for better sensing of the ground and activates the muscles of the foot. The removable insoles and an easy hook-and-loop fastening come in handy for adjusting the fit. This shoe lets your little one move freely and in comfort!

The child's foot needs the freedom to move naturally for normal development. When the shoe does not support the foot in a certain position or block any movements, it allows the small muscles of the foot to work. The natural shape of the Affenzahn footwear also provides enough space for all toes.

Walking with barefoot shoes exercises balance, strengthens the muscles of the feet and can prevent misalignment of the feet at an early stage. Movement in varied terrain, such as asphalt, forest, and sand, provides activation for the foot.

The flexible sole of the Affenzahn shoes is as thin as possible: healthy feet do not need extra padding. The shoes do not have a heel lift, which allows for a natural foot position. The sole pattern of the shoes is designed to provide adequate grip on a slippery surface.

Please note that in order to avoid stains on the shoe upper the soles are not glued all the way to the edge. The soles are therefore properly glued, and the small gap at the edge of the sole is not a manufacturing defect. With use the gap may become more obvious because the sole of the barefoot shoe is flexible. However, it doesn't mean that the sole is deattaching, there is no loss of function and therefore these cases are not considered as claims.

Always make sure the shoes are proper fit before wearing them. Shoes that are used outdoors can't be returned.

Please note: The materials and stitchings of the shoes will wear out and eventually break if the shoes are used in activities such as balance biking, football etc, or if kicked/rubbed against the ground repeatedly. Especially dyed leather and synthetic leather will quickly become scratched and look worn if it rubs against the ground.
