OK Bare shoes are handmade in the Czech Republic, so they may have small asymmetries and unevenness. The leather is very soft and may also have small bumps etc. These are not manufacturing defects.

— Show originalA nice and pretty model, will definitely be used until the end of time, although there is room for improvement: it requires an additional insole for the heel section when used on your own foot, so as not to rub too much behind the heel (it came with a thin size insole, which is enough for those with longer legs to ride the same need).
The back of the shoe is also quite "rough", so of course that also contributes to chafing. I assume that the leather becomes flexible with use and the problem eases.
