The width measurement taken at the instep (joints) of the foot can be slightly larger than indicated in the measurement table - preferably not much smaller, because then the shoe will not fit snugly enough on the midfoot.

I bought a pair of Realfoot's farmer winter boots size 42. Yes, they are wide enough, but extremely flat. As if a human being has duck feet. Please! Wide feet does not necessarily mean flat thin feet. There is no way I can use the inner sole, and even without it there is a problem. Big toe is firmly pressed against the upper of the shoe. Some product modification is needed to cater to people with large (high volume) feet, or at least toes. They are long enough, just not high/voluminous enough. I have returned these.

This winter's best shoes and surprisingly warm despite the thin lining! I bought felt insoles for these, but I haven't needed them yet, even in -18'C frost. The toes have wonderful space to spread out. A small minus is that it is not super fast to put on because there is no zipper.

My first barefoot winter shoe and it feels surprisingly good! Really light shoes, which have now been in use every day in freezing and slush conditions for three weeks. With felt insoles and wool socks, the feet have stayed warm. I adjusted the elastic quick straps to these, so it's faster to slip on. High-quality shoes, I recommend
