As the sole is thicker, these shoes are also warmer than the barefoot winter shoes.

Really warm and comfortable winter shoes. Compromise shoes, the sole is thick enough to insulate the feet from the ground and keep the toes warm even when you have to stand still a lot outside. You can also attach studs under the thicker base to prevent slipping. At the same time, however, there is enough toe space and a flat sole without a heel rise like in pj shoes.
