Product description
PEERKO 2.0 Empire is a comfortable, stylish and at the same time healthy walking barefoot shoe made of high-quality smooth leather, using water-based adhesives, without solvents.
The shoes have high lacing, which in addition to the unique design also means the possibility of adapting the shoe to your calf as much as possible. In addition to lacing on the side, the shoes also have a zipper for comfortable footwear.
The shoes are slightly insulated, suitable for wearing from autumn to spring.
The sole is made of flexible, recyclable thermoplastic rubber with a base thickness of 3.5 mm with a 1.5 mm profile. It is glued and sewn to the upper.
They are designed in collaboration with physiotherapists to give the foot sufficient space and healthy comfort.
Please note that in order to avoid stains on the shoe upper the soles are not glued all the way to the edge. The soles are therefore properly glued, and the small gap at the edge of the sole is not a manufacturing defect. With use the gap may become more obvious because the sole of the barefoot shoe is flexible. However, it doesn't mean that the sole is deattaching, there is no loss of function and therefore these cases are not considered as claims.

— Show originalReally lovely on the feet, they hold water well and were not slippery. It's warm too. If you have thick calves, like me, you can loosen the laces even to the extreme if you need to and the shoes will still look good.

One star removed from the fact that even after the first use, permanent "wrinkles" remained in the leather despite greasing the shoes: they looked like old shoes almost immediately. — Show originalThe sole is spacious and very pleasant for a person suffering from weak bones and with relatively wide feet, whose big toe is shorter than its neighbor. The shoes look good and feel really nice on the feet. The lacing gives a tightening allowance for the calves, for example, my own muscular calves did not go at all in Belenka's long-sleeves, but these slipped onto the leg nicely and without any problems after loosening the laces.
The bottom pattern is as slippery as an icy tin roof, so as soon as it gets slippery, you need studs.
