I bought these shoes in the spring, so at first I wore them with socks. Then they were slippery and their feet slid as they stepped. But with use, they also feel good with socks and don’t slip anymore. These are my first barefoot shoes, and will not be the last. Even though I got a pretty big bladder to the heel (for the first time if the hikes aren’t counted), however, the shoe didn’t rub it apart and didn’t feel sore when walking.
At first, the shoes felt a little big and I thought they wouldn’t stay on my feet, but the leather is a little shaped to fit my feet. Simply the best shoes I have ever had. The only downside is that sand and gravel road small stones easily go inside the shoe. A little more conscious walking has helped, but did not eliminate this problem.
I also tried these for easy and dry terrain, it was so pleasant that next I was going to get some kind of barefoot shoes that would fit it.
