For years, people have told us, “We LOVE our sandals, but what do we do when it’s cold out, or when I need something with closed-toes for work, or if I need a bit more protection?”

The Hana is meant to be a casual shoe. We don’t suggest that you run an ultramarathon in the Hana, but we know when you have our high-performance FeelTrue® sandal base under your foot, some of you will do more in the Hana than just hanging out.

Note that this model is basically the same as previous women's Lena, but the new Hana is “rain-friendly”. It isn’t the same as “waterproof.” Fully water-proof shoes have a technical liner, sealed seams, and a much higher price. By pre-treated the Hana with a water-resistant coating, you get an extra layer of protection against light splashing right out of the box.
